When I started training with Malcolm a year ago, I was under the care of a spinal surgeon who recommended surgery for my lower back. I have herniated discs, nerve damage, numbness in my leg, and the start of foot drop. I was unable to stand on my toes. My son was getting married, so I wanted to avoid spinal surgery. My goal was to walk down the aisle in my dress heels. I trained with Malcolm regularly. He was so encouraging and patient. He tried different ways to help me strengthen my legs and lower back. I’m happy to report, I walked down the aisle at my son’s wedding in my high-heeled shoes without a problem. Not only can I stand on my toes, I can walk on my toes as well. Malcolm has been there for me every step of the way. There were times when I thought I would quit. However, his motivation, professionalism, sense of humor, skill, and knowledge kept me going. My doctor cannot believe how far I’ve come since last year. He no longer recommends surgery. He wants me to continue training with Malcolm. I look forward to our Sunday morning training. I just signed up for Pilates reformer at Malcolm’s encouragement. Thanks, Malcolm. You are the best!
