Kyle Derespinis

Personal Trainer Kyle earned his Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, with a Minor in biology, from Manhattan College. He is a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Kyle believes in a comprehensive approach to fitness; he likes to engage members with a variety of exercises and activities. To do this, he earned numerous fitness certifications. He is a certified Pilates reformer instructor through Balanced Body; swim instructor, water safety instructor, and lifeguard through the American Red Cross where he also obtained his CPR/AED/first aid certification.

In high school, Kyle was a varsity swimmer and bowler who proceeded to become a duel division-one athlete in swimming and golf. In addition to training on the Fitness Floor, he is one of the Center’s swim team coaches and a swim instructor as well as a Pilates instructor. Kyle’s training focuses on core control, muscle balance, movement analysis, and injury prevention. He loves working with athletes and those with special needs.

Kyle’s history in athletics, along with his education and experience, help him create personalized fitness programs to meet the diverse needs of the Center’s membership. He has a passion for helping others. Kyle enjoys the rewards of being able to motivate positive change in the lives of his clients.
