I love to compete and train people in various events such as: swimming, biking, running, obstacle races, and triathlons. I have done races from 5k’s, triathlons, Ironman’s, to ultra-marathons.
Why did you go into Personal Training?
I always liked to advise my cross-country and track friends in high school. They would seek out my advice for training and injuries. This led me to become a student athletic trainer. I constantly read books to increase my knowledge and decided to study fitness in college. I could not make up my mind so I double majored. I started working with Special Needs students, which I really enjoyed and still do to this day, so I went on to get my Teacher of Handicapped Certification. I now work with a wide range of clients seeking weight loss, muscle strength, disease prevention, and sports training. I teach swim lessons, train in the water and train many clients with special needs, which I really enjoy.
