Recently, my 14-year-old daughter, Jess, and I joined the Center. She plays on a competitive softball team as a catcher. Jess wanted to stay conditioned during the off-season, so I signed her up for personal training with Phil. I cannot say enough good about Phil and our experience. He is impressively knowledgeable, and teaches Jess a lot. He customized a program for her to specifically focus on muscle groups used in her sport. He challenges her while keeping within safe parameters. He also teaches her methods to protect herself on the field. Phil is always friendly and makes Jess feel comfortable. That’s not always easy when working with teens! Jess and I are lucky to have met Phil. We intend to include him as part of her long-term training program.
