Jessie Whalen

Personal Trainer Jessie Whalen believes exercise plays a role in being the best version of yourself.

She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance; and her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition, with a concentration in dietetics, both from Montclair State University. She is certified in CPR/AED from the American Red Cross. Her background includes over 21 years as a trained dancer. She has provided dance and fitness instruction locally and in New York.

Jessie specializes in helping members improve postural alignment, range-of-motion, and flexibility. Her sessions focus on safe, effective posture and form while strengthening. With a motivating spirit, she challenges her clients to go beyond their perceived limitations and accomplish myriad fitness goals.

I recently moved from NY and decided to try the Center. After two months of training here, I realized training for 29 years left me with nothing creative. I was doing the same routine exercises every day. I reached a plateau. In July, I will be 50 years old. I want something different. I met Jessie and was immediately impressed with her nutrition background. I signed up for eight weeks training with her.
